NBA DFS picks December 30: My name is Luka
By Mike Marteny
NBA DFS Shooting Guards:
C.J. averaged more DraftKings points per game against the Clippers last year than Dame, but it still wasn’t 5x value. It’s only a six game slate, but I think the Portland guards are definitely a fade spot regardless of the status of Kawhi. There’s no need to reach here.
Jaylen Brown wasn’t much of a factor last night either and Caris LeVert‘s huge success will be short lived with KD and Kyrie back. SG thins out quickly, especially if you are like me and think Dillon Brooks is overpriced.
You can almost lock in THJ if Josh Richardson is out. Almost. I still don’t trust the guy. I’m more likely to take a flier on Keldon Johnson even in a tough matchup.
LouWill is off to a slow start. I’m going to continue to fade him until he shows signs of life. Donte DiVincenzo is nothing exciting, but he’s a consistent performer and a cheap way to get a piece of the high-flying Bucks offense.
We saw this when he was with the Kings too. Bogdan Bogdanovic is almost better when he comes off the bench. He’s automatic scoring on the second unit. There aren’t many guys on DraftKings who feel too cheap, but Bogdan is definitely one of them.
Lonnie Walker is still a solid value play against the Lakers, but I can see using Avery Bradley instead if Butler is out.
