Pick Analysis. Offensive Coordinator . Kansas City Chiefs. Eric Bieniemy . 124. Scouting Report. 2. player

The reality is, Eric Bieniemy should have been a head coach last season. The Kansas City Chiefs barely regressed from Patrick Mahomes MVP offensive season and were the AFC Champions.

This time around, Bieniemy’s asking price has soared into a near different stratosphere. He won’t have to wait for a call because he’ll call other teams and tell them that he’s out.

Once again, Bieniemy, 51, has led the Chiefs to the No.1 passing DVOA offense. Both Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce will finish with over 1,000 yards while the latter recently set a pair of records at his position. But it’s more than just that. Look at names and the production outside of Mahomes’ top two weapons.

Check the rushing attack with Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Does that look like a coach who isn’t ready to take over an NFL franchise?

Andy Reid has built a sustainable offense that’s measured around their quarterback. Why couldn’t the coordinator do the same thing? More than that, Matt Nagy and Doug Pederson have been given multiple years to fix their franchises after working with Reid.

It’s only a matter of time for the Chiefs offensive coordinator to receive his chance. Will the Lions make the offensive or defensive call? If it’s offense, Bienemy is the guy.
