Scouting Report. CB. Cincinnati Bengals. Mackensie Alexander . 2. player. 56. Pick Analysis

The secondary for the Rams proved to be a strength for the team in 2020. Ramsey finished with another Pro Bowl nod and was elite against divisional opponents. Meanwhile, John Johnson and Jordan Fuller might be the most underrated safety tandem in the league.

Troy Hill will be heading to the free agent market and could earn a decent deal. The Rams could need to replace him in the nickel with a cheap option on the market. It’ll be interesting to see who could be available looking for a prove-it deal.

Mackensie Alexander joined Trae Waynes in the jungle following a stint with the Vikings. Unlike Waynes, the slot defender saw positive play for the defense. Although far from perfect in coverage, the 27-year-old still could in line for another one-year deal.

If Hill leaves, the Rams will need to add a name in the slot. Alexander could be looking for another cheap deal should the market be dry. His skills are a perfect fit for a team that will need to defend the run, but also play heavy zone coverage. Look for Alexander on the shortlist of names for Los Angeles.
