The Buffalo Bills fanbase might be the coolest bunch in the NFL after donating to Lamar Jackson’s charity.

No matter how you look at it, the Buffalo Bills have earned the right to make it thus far. A 13-3 finish in 2020, plus a resurgence from Josh Allen has the franchise from Orchard Park back in the AFC Championship for the first time since 1993.

A 17-3 victory over the Baltimore Ravens proved Buffalo is here and they mean business. A 101-yard interception from Taron Johnson against Lamar Jackson sealed the win at Bills Stadium, putting them a win away from making their first Super Bowl in over two decades.

Baltimore might be out, but Ravens’ fans will still be watching the NFL playoffs. If looking for a team to root for the rest of the way, the Bills are making a pretty good case.

Bills fans online are continuing to show support for Jackson by supporting the “Blessings in a Backpack” foundation, a charity close to Jackson’s heart. As of 2 p.m. ET, the foundation had surpassed 7,000 individual donations and $150,000.

Bills donations are a common theme

This wouldn’t be the first time Buffalo fans have donated to a player. In 2017, the team made their first playoff appearance in 18 years thanks to a touchdown pass from then-Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. Thousands of dollars flooded into his foundation days later.

After picking up a victory following the death of his grandma, Bills fans donated increments of $17 to Oishei Children’s Hospital. By the time donations finished, they eclipsed $1 million.

Jackson left the game early due to a concussion caused in the end zone. However, Buffalo’s social account did tweet out for a speedy recovery for the reigning MVP moving forward.

The Bills Mafia might be known for their shenanigans and crazy antics. They also likely will be voted the classiest fanbase among all NFL clubs entering 2021.
