30. . Wide Receiver. New York Jets. DeVonta Smith. 4. player

The New York Jets trade back two spots in this mock draft, sending the No. 2 overall pick to the Atlanta Falcons. With their selection at No. 4, the Jets add an elite weapon for quarterback Sam Darnold, bringing in Devonta Smith from Alabama.

Smith was this year’s Heisman Trophy winner, leading the Crimson Tide to an undefeated season and a national championship. Having the Heisman Trophy winner playing under the bright lights of New York is a match made in heaven, and for Darnold, there are no more excuses.

. Quarterback. Carolina Panthers. Justin Fields. 5. player. 87

In our second trade of the first five picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers trade up to the No. 5 spot with the Cincinnati Bengals. With the selection, the Panthers add a franchise quarterback in Justin Fields, who has the arm and legs to be an elite player in the NFL.

Carolina already has a start in running back in Christian McCaffrey, and adding a dynamic playmaker like Fields will only make this offense better. Matt Rhule has a lot of work to do heading into season No. 2 as the franchise head coach, and Fields is a great place to continue the rebuild.

6. player. 54. . Wide Receiver. Philadelphia Eagles. Ja'Marr Chase

With the No. 6 overall selection, the Philadelphia Eagles bring in a weapon for whoever they put under center next year. Right now, it looks as if Carson Wentz will be the starter in Philly next season, but this offense needs some weapons for him to throw to.

Even if the team decides to go with Jalen Hurts, bringing in elite talent like Ja’Marr Chase from LSU is only going to make this offense better. It has been a steep decline for the Eagles since winning the Super Bowl a few years back, and hopefully, Chase can help them get back on track.
