2021 NFL Mock Draft: Carolina Panthers trade up for Justin Fields

Super Bowl LV is set, and for the NFL, battling through a COVID-19 season, they could not have asked for a better matchup.
The Kansas City Chiefs will look to win their second straight title in two weeks, but they will have to go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and a player who is playing in his tenth Super Bowl in Tom Brady.
The stage is set for the big game, and with that said, let us take a look at our latest 2021 NFL Mock Draft.
Quarterback. Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence. 1. player. 52.
The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and with the selection, they bring in their new franchise quarterback. Clemson star Trevor Lawrence is considered the top overall prospect in this draft class, and he lands in Jacksonville with newly-hired head coach Urban Meyer.
Lawrence has everything you look for in a franchise quarterback, and the Jaguars are certainly beginning the rebuild. There is no better way to start a rebuild than with a franchise guy under center, and Meyer gets his man with Lawrence to kick off the first round.
Quarterback. Atlanta Falcons. Zach Wilson. 2. player. 44.
In our first trade at the top of the first half of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons trade up to the No. 2 spot with the New York Jets. With the selection, the Falcons bring in a new franchise quarterback, as they turn the page from veteran Matt Ryan.
To move up a few spots, the Falcons are going to have to trade away some assets, but Zach Wilson could certainly be worth the price. He has the arm and athleticism to be an elite player at the next level, and he will be joining a Falcons team with plenty of weapons for him to throw to.
3. player. 59. . Offensive Tackle. Miami Dolphins. Penei Sewell
Sitting with two first-round picks in 2021, and fresh off a 10-win season, the Miami Dolphins are in a great spot to continue to rebuild this roster. With the No. 3 overall pick, the Dolphins bring in some protection for Tua Tagovailoa, adding Oregon left tackle Penei Sewell.
Sewell is widely regarded as the No. 1 offensive lineman prospect in this draft class, and he will be tasked with protecting Miami’s No. 1 asset in Tua. The Dolphins are building something special down in South Beach and should challenge the Buffalo Bills for first place in the AFC East next season.
