Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Nelson Agoholor reportedly blasted his one teammates after their Week 16 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The Las Vegas Raiders’ season ended in disappointment with an 8-8 record to show for their first season in their shiny new stadium. But tension started to boil over before their final game of the season as it’s now being reported that Raiders wide receiver Nelson Agholor verbally went after his own teammates after their Week 16 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The Week 16 matchup ended with the Raiders blowing a fourth-quarter three-point lead with just 19 seconds left in the game. A Daniel Carlson field goal gave them a 25-22 lead and fans assumed that the game was all but over. But Ryan Fitzpatrick came through with his timely ‘Fitz-magic’ to complete a 34-yard pass down the field and tacked on a 15-yard facemask penalty to set the Dolphins up for their eventual win.

Agholor was reasonably upset, given the fact that he went for five catches, 155 yards and a touchdown in the matchup. What we didn’t know though, was that he apparently verbally attacked his teammates for their lack of effort after the game.

Agholor stormed into the Raiders’ locker room and let his teammates hear it.

The six-year NFL veteran certainly knows what it means to be a winner having secured a Super Bowl championship with the Philadelphia Eagles just a few years ago. When he signed a one-year deal with the Raiders, I doubt he expected to finish with a .500 record. In his time with the raiders, he snagged 48 receptions for a career-high 896 yards and eight touchdowns and was one of their top-performing receivers last year.

Agholor is a free agent again in March and from the looks of this, it doesn’t seem like he’ll be back under Jon Gruden’s purview next season.
