Ben Cleveland. 86. player. Pick Analysis. Offensive guard. Georgia. 35. Scouting Report

Henry deserves his reputation as arguably the most physical running back in football, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t benefit from bigger holes being opened for him up front. The Titans

should look for an upgrade at guard to do just that in Round 3.

Cleveland isn’t the most skilled interior lineman in this class, but he’s a prototypical bruiser. He’s perfectly suited to be deployed in a power run scheme like the Titans typically employ.

Cleveland’s technique is good, but it can be improved with NFL coaching. It’s his nastiness and physicality that make him such an intriguing draft prospect. In many ways, he’s the perfect guard to line up ahead of Henry in an effort to torment opposing defensive lines.

There’s no guarantee that Cleveland will still be on the board when Tennessee goes on the clock at No. 86. He’s a guy who could hear his name called in Round 2 if an early run on guards materializes. The Titans may face a nervous wait to nab such an impact player in the third round.
