2. Allen Robinson free agency fits – Chicago Bears

One of the best fits for Robinson in free agency is to simply stay put where he is already highly productive. Robinson has delivered elite production over the past two years, catching a combined 200 passes for 2,397 yards and 13 touchdowns over the past two years.

That production came despite inconsistent quarterback play from Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles, a sign that Robinson is capable of elevating mediocre passers. Robinson has clearly proven to be a good scheme fit in Matt Nagy’s offense, which has put him in a position to achieve a massive payday.

There are questions to how the Bears will be able to fit Robinson’s big new deal under the cap given their issues but Chicago simply can’t afford to lose him. The rest of the Bears’ depth chart at receiver is lacking as Anthony Miller, Javon Wims and Darnell Mooney haven’t come close to establishing themselves as go-to-guys.

There are still questions about where Chicago will go at quarterback next season but whoever they go with would be doomed without Robinson. Re-signing him has to be the top priority for GM Ryan Pace in a must-win year for him and Nagy.
