Ndamukong Suh . 48. DL. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 2. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The best plan of action for New York will be to go into negotiations with both Leonard Williams and Dalvin Tomlinson. The two have proven to work well together and bounced back following sluggish starts to their careers.

Williams feels like the better bet to land back in New York next season. The Giants nearly traded Tomlinson at the deadline this season and Williams already has been on the franchise tag. Would the Giants be willing to use it again?

Should they lose Williams, Ndamukong Suh would be a rental replacement. The only problem with this is the former Buccaneers defensive end is 34 and is coming off a season in which his production didn’t match his on-the-field snap count. He also could be wanting top dollar to not play for a contender.

Williams might leave, but the Giants should find his replacement via the draft instead of free agency. Having control over the contract is more important than adding a name that could cost a hefty price and only for one season.
