1. Matthew Judon

The Ravens look ready to let Judon walk in free agency because of his potential price tag. That decision gives the Packers a unique opportunity to steal an edge-rusher away from another Super Bowl contender.

Stylistically, Judon is a perfect fit for the way Green Bay’s defense likes to operate. He’s a big, powerful edge rusher that loves to get downhill and threaten the opposing quarterback. Similar to other players on this list, Judon’s value should also be downgraded due to his lack of ability to hold up against the run.

His status as something of a one-trick pony should depress his market in free agency. Green Bay is one team that can pay him significant money and still expect to get solid value because they can give Judon the sort of freedom he needs to be successful.

Next. Packers should make this most instead of signing J.J. Watt. dark

The Packers should be aware that Judon is coming off a down season in Baltimore and will be 29-years-old next season. The key to this potential deal is not committing two many years to the veteran edge-rusher. A short-term deal with an average annual value of under $15 million would be good business for Green Bay.
