Nelson Agholor. player. Scouting Report. Las Vegas Raiders. 2.. 28. Pick Analysis. WR

Nelson Agholor had himself a hell of a career resurgence in just one year. Back in 2019, he was loathed by the Philadelphia Eagles fan base for propensity to drop passes. So much so, he became a meme that season.

Agholor bet on himself in free agency by signing a one-year, $1.05 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, and did he ever make his haters eat crow. Perhaps there was no better place to go than to Las Vegas with their rather loaded offense. In 16 games, Agholor caught 48 passes for 896 yards and eight touchdowns. Oh, and he averaged a ridiculous 18.7 yards per reception.

The Chiefs are in a bit of a conundrum when it comes to the receiver position. The team has Sammy Watkins and Demarcus Robinson hitting unrestricted free agency and the Chiefs could stand to upgrade the depth chart with a free agent and NFL Draft pick.

Agholor would stand as a cheaper free agency option and could fall in the price range of the Chiefs. Besides, can you imagine how happy Patrick Mahomes would be to have Agholor and Tyreek Hill lined up on the outside? You can expect a lot of rocket passes from the Chiefs gunslinger if the team were to bring in Agholor.
