Cornerback. Wisconsin. 94. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Rachad Wildgoose. player. 16

Injuries limited Wildgoose to just two games last season at Wisconsin, but he still managed to garner a lot of attention from scots during his Badgers career. Some teams think he’s better suited to play inside as a slot corner, but he’s got the competitiveness required to hold up on the outside for the Bills.

He played a lot of zone at Wisconsin which should help his scheme versatility at the pro level. That doesn’t mean he isn’t going to hold up in man coverage. He’s got the speed and quick hips required to be a real problem for receivers when he’s assigned to them in one-on-one matchups.

At worst, Wildgoose can give the Bills one of the better slot corners in the league. At best, he can quickly develop into an upgrade over what they got from Norman on the outside in 2020. Either outcome represents good value for Buffalo in Round 3.

Selecting Wildgoose here wouldn’t be as big as swing as the Bills are taking in the first two rounds of this mock, but he has a relatively high floor for a prospect that will be available in Round 3. He would be a nice way for Buffalo to balance out their first three picks.
