NFL trade rumors: 3 teams that should try to trade for Patriots’ N’Keal Harry
2) New York Giants
The New York Giants‘ top organizational priority this offseason is bolstering the supporting cast around quarterback Daniel Jones, as he enters his pivotal third NFL season.
Harry is exactly the type of player that the Giants should be targeting this offseason; young, cheap, with plenty of upside.
After releasing Kevin Zeitler, Golden Tate, and David Mayo, the Giants have just $3.28 million in cap space, so if they are unable to play in the Kenny Golladay market, adding Harry could be a nice addition to the receiving corps.
At 6-foot-3 and 216 pounds, Harry is the type of big-bodied outside receiver with explosive speed that the Giants should be looking to add.
It bears monitoring that Giants head coach Joe Judge was previously the New England Patriots’ wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator, so he is intimately familiar with Harry’s strengths, weaknesses, and just how much potential he believes he’s capable of untapping.
Should the Giants trade for Harry — or sign him if he becomes available — he would need to be a piece of a rebuild, but not the centerpiece, and the organization would be wise to draft a receiver early, as well.
