Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is confident the offense can get the job done with the players in town right now.

Much was said after the Green Bay Packers suffered their rough loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game. With the Tampa Bay defense putting on a show, fans took to Twitter practically begging Brian Gutekunst to make some improvements for the offense.

Remember last NFL Draft when the team didn’t take a wide receiver in any of the rounds and used the top pick on Jordan Love? No one has forgotten about it. And while Green Bay supporters continue to ask for more weapons for Aaron Rodgers, wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling said the playmakers already on the team can get the job done moving forward.

Green Bay Packers wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling had quite the message for fans

Valdes-Scantling passionately thinks he and his teammates on the current roster have what it takes to get the Packers back to the Super Bowl. While he might have a strong belief in that, many folks out there would disagree.

There were multiple times last year where the Packers wideouts let Rodgers down with some truly mind-numbing drops. Valdes-Scantling was at fault for multiple of those drops, which led to Rodgers starring him down on more than one occasion.

Adding a playmaker like Will Fuller to the offense would have people outside of Lambeau Field jumping for joy. With the Texans not expected to tag him, Fuller will be free to sign with anyone he wants this offseason.

Valdes-Scantling may think Green Bay is fine as is, but if the team were to add a player of Fuller’s caliber, or even Odell Beckham Jr., they’d sure send a message to the rest of the NFC.
