4. Taven Jenkins

Jenkins would be higher on this list if he stood a good chance of falling all the way down to No. 31. His more likely draft range lies somewhere in the early 20s.

If the former Oklahoma State standout does fall this far, Kansas City should snap him up without a second thought. He’s a massive player who is going to help open up big holes for his running backs at the next level.

The majority of the questions about Jenkins as a pro prospect deal with his lack of mobility out on the edge. There’s a decent chance he’s forced to kick inside to guard due to his inability to handle speed rushers. That’s a decent outcome for the Chiefs. They arguably have a bigger need on the inside than they do on the edge this offseason.

In a perfect world, the Chiefs might prefer to nab a better pass-blocker at this spot, but Jenkins is too talented to ignore. At worst, he projects as an above-average starting guard. At best, he can hold down one of Kansas City’s starting tackle spots for the next decade.
