1) Buffalo Bills

The Bills are an ideal landing spot for Ertz, and seem intent to surround quarterback Josh Allen with as much high-end receiving talent as possible, in a push to dethrone Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for AFC Supremacy.

Allen, last season, targeted Dawson Knox and Tyler Kroft 60 times and connected with his top-two tight ends on six touchdown passes.

Given the abundance of speed on the outside that the Bills now have with Stefon Digs and recently acquired Emmanuel Sanders on the outside commanding the attention of safeties over the top, Ertz would have the freedom to exploit mismatches against linebackers along the seam and on intermediate routes.

Buffalo played 12 personnel just 12 percent of their offensive snaps, according to SharpFootballstats.com, obviously Ertz would give the Bills the option to deploy this formation grouping more often, but he’d also be a lethal combination over the middle with Cole Beasley.

Following the first wave of free agency, the Bills still have approximately $5.3 million in cap space, and just traded tight end Lee Smith to the Atlanta Falcons, potentially clearing a hurdle to adding Ertz.
