Scouting Report. AFC. player. Pick Analysis. North. Baltimore Ravens. 3. 26

Lamar Jackson was one of the quarterbacks who wanted his team to sign Brown last offseason.

The Ravens, looking to add juice to the league’s worst passing offense after missing out on some others (JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kenny Golladay), recently added Sammy Watkins in free agency. It seems inevitable they’ll draft a wide receiver early, perhaps in the first round with the 27th pick if the right guy is available.

Should they pursue Brown, there’s another layer beyond last offseason’s workouts with Jackson that may work in Baltimore’s favor. Ravens’ wide receiver Marquise Brown is Antonio’s cousin, and he was part of the aforementioned workouts. So it’s safe to say the two are close.

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta never shut the door on the idea of signing Brown last offseason, with the (albeit heavily cliched) idea of always looking for opportunities to make the football team better. This time around, they have just over $17 million in cap space. So it seems they could offer Brown a one-year deal worth up toward $10 million fairly easily.
