In the showdown between the New York Mets and Colorado Rockies, pitcher Marcus Stroman made a play that you’re not going to believe.

Whenever New York Mets hurler Marcus Stroman is on the bump, you can expect the stud to make some unreal plays. With that being said, Stroman took things to a whole new level against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday.

In the middle of the action, Stroman fielded a ground ball, but he somehow was able to snag it behind the back. Then, he had just enough on his toss to first to record the out. Seriously, this is an unbelievable moment from Stroman.

Marcus Stroman just recorded one of the best plays we’ll see this year

What a play from Stroman. As you can see in the video above, he really did throw his glove behind his back and with all the luck in the world, he was able to grab it. He then didn’t hesitate in launching the ball to first. While he didn’t really have much mustard on the toss, it was enough to get the job done.

Stroman’s athleticism is tough to match for pitchers. Who else would have been able to do this? This is something only Stroman would have been able to get done on the Mets. No disrespect to Jacob deGrom, but do you think he’d be able to knock this one out? No chance.

Yet, Stroman was able to do the unthinkable and acted like he does it in his sleep. That’s just how great he is on the hill. Don’t be surprised to see Stroman make more plays like this in his career. While nine times out of 10 he may not be able to repeat this, he’s always got the potential to turn our heads when he’s in action.
