2. player. 808. Amon-Ra St. Brown. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. USC

Don’t forget that the Chiefs also have another second-round pick just five spots later at No. 63. So, if Kansas City decides to attack a different position at No. 58, they could very well go ahead and pull the trigger on a wideout soon after. Let’s take a look at Amon-Ra St. Brown here.

The USC standout is coming off a big year himself, as he reminded everyone in the Pac-12 of just how special he can be with the ball in his hands. On the campaign, the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder caught 41 balls for 478 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns in only six games.

In early December, St. Brown had a historic night for the Trojans going up Washington State. In that showdown, St. Brown caught four touchdowns… all in the first quarter. That’s not a typo, folks. St. Brown posted four scores in the first 15 minutes of action, making the Washington State defensive backs look silly.

With his freakish athletic ability, St. Brown would really be a welcome addition for Mahomes and the Kansas City offense. In the second round, the Chiefs obviously won’t use both picks on a wide receiver, as they do have other needs. However, if St. Brown is there for the taking, he could be tough for Veach to pass up on.
