Look: Kwity Paye pays tribute to Chadwick Boseman with Black Panther-inspired NFL Draft suit
By Scott Rogust
Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye wore a Black Panther-inspired suit for the NFL Draft.
Before they walked onto the NFL Draft stage to pick up the uniform of their new team, the prospects stepped onto the red carpet ahead of the big event, either live in Cleveland, Ohio or from their own homes.
All of the prospects dressed to the nines for their important day. If there was a favorite for the suit of the night, it has to go to Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye.
GQ Magazine’s Tyler R. Tynes tweeted out photos of Paye’s Black Panther-inspired suit, which was designed by former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Adonis Jennings. Paye told Tynes that late-actor Chadwick Boseman playing the first Black superhero on the big screen “meant the world to him.”

It’s going to be hard for any prospect to top Paye’s suit because it is phenomenal.
Paye spent the past four years at Ann Arbor to play for the Michigan Wolverines. In his junior year, the edge rusher recorded 50 total tackles (12.5 for loss) and 6.5 sacks through 12 games. This past season, Paye played in four contests, where he tallied 16 total tackles and two sacks. Despite the limited number of games played in his senior season, Paye is considered one of the best pass rushers in the draft.
The 6-foot-2, 261-pound defensive lineman is slated to be a first-round selection, where he could potentially go as early as 11th-overall to the New York Giants.
However the NFL Draft plays out for Paye, he officially holds bragging rights for having the best suit of the night. Sorry, Trevor Lawrence.
