Philadelphia Eagles fans struggle to tell Alabama football star DeVonta Smith were to get a cheesesteak in town.
After being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 10 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, former Alabama football superstar wide receiver DeVonta Smith just wants to eat a dang cheesesteak.
We get it. He is new in town. Smith decided to ask Eagles fans on Twitter where the best cheesesteak in Philadelphia could be found. Since the City of Brotherly cannot agree on anything other than how much the Dallas Cowboys suck, Smith got a multitude of answers on the hardest of hard-hitting questions. Let’s hope the slender wide receiver has a big appetite this weekend.
If Smith needs to put on some weight, well, he has got a bunch of cheesesteaks to try now.

Philadelphia Eagles: DeVonta Smith covets the best cheesesteak in Philadelphia
Despite being a Heisman Trophy winner at Alabama, Smith was the third receiver taken off the board, mostly because of his slight frame.

While his weight has never been an issue in high school or college, could you imagine if it becomes one after he develops a strange Philly cheesesteak addiction?

You could call it a glow-up if you wanted to, but let’s hope the Eagles’ top pick isn’t rocking a Philly Phanatic or Gritty dad bod heading into his second year in the league.

Devonta, go to Jim's at 4th & South. Ishkabibble's is pretty good, and D'Alessandro's is also great.

Overall, Smith has something on his side that most humans lose in the late 20s and their early 30s: Metabolism. He has a reputation of burning through calories at a rate greater than Michael Phelps in a pool. With his former college quarterback Jalen Hurts under center with the Eagles, maybe this is the Philly connection we can all get behind, one mouth-watering hoagie at a time?
It sure looks like Smith has some cheese, meat, onions and bread to consume ravenously now.
