3. Josh Jobe, cornerback

Jobe operated in Patrick Surtain’s shadow as Alabama’s No. 2 starting cornerback in 2020. Now is his time to shine. Already, Pro Football Focus gave him an All-American honorable mention for his junior season with 55 tackles, 11 pass breakups and two forced fumbles. You may remember him as the one who forced a fumble on the opening kickoff against Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl.

2. John Metchie, receiver

DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle are gone. That just means the starring role in the Alabama passing attack belongs to John Metchie. He’s expected to follow in their footsteps as a pro prospect. As a sophomore, Metchie explored with some huge receiving performances for the Tide, including 181 yards and two touchdowns in a blowout over Texas A&M. He finished the season with 916 yards and six touchdowns on 55 catches.

1. Evan Neal, offensive tackle

Neal was the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 7 player in the class of 2019, per 247Sports. Those accolades were no joke. The 6-foot-7 lineman started immediately at guard in 2019 then transitioned to right tackle in 2020. He’ll move again to left tackle for 2021 to take over Alex Leatherwood’s spot. He’s big. He’s strong. He’s long. He’s prototypical. There will be NFL coaches licking their lips at the prospect of picking him up in next year’s draft.
