Game of the Week: Cowboys at Eagles

Is this for the NFC East? Is this for the best pick in the NFL Draft? Who can say?

The Cowboys come into the season with a healthy Dak Prescott under center and therefore, expectations. Yet the defense remains one of the more questionable units in the league and the offense, while potent, is dealing with a bit of a shift along the offensive line.

Philadelphia is completely turning the roster and coaching staff, as the era of head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts takes over. If Hurts and Sirianni prove their mettle in 2021, there’s reason to think the Eagles could be one of the more surprising teams. Hurts will have talent around him, led by first-round rookie receiver DeVonta Smith.

This tilt may end up having no bearing on the playoff picture, or it could determine who is hosting a Wild Card game.
