The Preakness Stakes field is set and now the Preakness Stakes post positions are set with Medina Spirit drawing the No. 3 post.

Horse racing is less than two weeks removed from the 2021 Kentucky Derby, where a Medina Spirit win is now in question. This Saturday, May 15, the 2021 Preakness Stakes will take place in its usual spot as the second leg of the big three horse races.

With a day or so remaining to place bets, many fans are wondering which horses are even racing this weekend at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Md. That is where we have you covered.

The one name that is no doubt going to catch the attention of even the casual fan is Medina Spirit. Two weeks ago, the Bob Baffert-trained horse won the Kentucky Derby, but a post-race drug test revealed it tested positive for betamethasone, a steroid used to treat pain and inflammation. Medina Spirit will race in the Preakness after reaching an agreement where the horse receives extra testing and monitoring.

There is the field for the Preakness, but who will win? Be sure to check the latest odds ahead of the second leg of the Triple Crown.
