1. Failing to keep Aaron Rodgers happy

The Packers might believe Jordan Love is going to be a high-quality quarterback in time, but he’s not in Rodgers’ league at the moment. That’s why Green Bay should have done everything possible to mend their relationship with their superstar quarterback this offseason.

Instead, the Packers find themselves in the unenviable task of trying to placate Rodgers after their roster is already set. Spending big on a wide receiver could have done wonders to restore his faith in the front office. Finding a way to keep Linsley in the fold could have also been a useful step in the right direction.

Now there are credible reports claiming that Rodgers is adamant Gutekunst must be fired if he’s going to suit up for the franchise again. It’s hard to imagine a worse situation for the Packers to be in heading into the regular season.
