Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant landed awkwardly on his right arm during a layup attempt in Saturday’s game against the Boston Celtics.
The Brooklyn Nets have waited for this moment all season — the NBA Playoffs. Even though the team had the likes of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden, the trio barely played together during the regular-season due to injuries. During Game 1 of their first-round series against the Boston Celtics on Saturday, it appeared that Durant was heading for the sidelines with yet another injury.
During the second quarter, Durant took a lob pass from teammate Blake Griffin and leapt in the air for a layup attempt. While he made the basket, Durant landed awkwardly on his right arm, causing many Nets fans to panic.
Fortunately, Durant was just fine. The star remained in the game and was on the court for the start of the second half.

In 19 minutes of first half action, Durant recorded 16 points (5-for-15 from field, 6-for-6 on free throws), seven rebounds, three turnovers and one assist.
It truly could have been so much worse, but Durant walked it off like it was nothing.
