1. Go get Julio Jones from the Falcons and go win yourself a dang Super Bowl

There is no better way of getting back into Rodgers’ good graces than winning the Julio Jones sweepstakes. Jones wants out of Atlanta, and he wants to win. Even though Atlanta Falcons general manager Terry Fontenot would prefer not to trade his best player in-conference, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst can win over Rodgers by getting him an A-plus wide receiver.

So instead of drafting defensive players and project quarterbacks with every first-round pick you ever hope to collect, send at least one, and maybe even a second for the hell of it, Atlanta’s way to prove to Rodgers you want to win a Super Bowl now. Adding Jones to the roster makes the Packers the favorite to come out of the NFC this year. Do you really need to be picking at No. 32?

By trading for Jones, this says Green Bay would be doing whatever it took to make Rodgers happy, even if it meant sacrificing their long-term future for a great deal of success in the short-term. To get Jones, Gutekunst will have to beat out teams like the Baltimore Ravens, the Indianapolis Colts, the New England Patriots, the San Francisco 49ers and the Tennessee Titans to be able to get him.

Ultimately, this is a ballsy move the ultra-conservative Packers would never do, which is all the more reason they need to do it. You are not replacing Rodgers with an equal level talent like you did with him over Brett Favre in 2008. The Packers will be bad once Rodgers calls it a career. To ensure that he never plays another down for anyone else, give Fontenot a call at Flowery Branch.
