54. Pick Analysis. . 3. NFC East. Philadelphia Eagles . player. Scouting Report

There’s isn’t a clear winner for the NFC East entering the summer. There is a clear last place club though based on paper, and Philadelphia takes the cake.

Nick Sirianni proved that he can be a quality offensive coordinator in Indianapolis, but will need time with the roster in place. There are questions on both sides of the ball with the defense missing key players and the offensive line now less of a sure-fire thing.

The real question will be if Jalen Hurts is the future under center. A 1-3 record in 2020 sounds sour, but given the circumstances, fans should ease off the second-year pro as he looks to become a quality passer to pair with his legs.

The addition of DeVonta Smith should provide a No. 1 receiver for the Eagles offense. In Shane Steichen’s new offense, Jalen Reagor could prove to a stable No. 2 weapon as a vertical option. Is that enough to make the No. 28 passing attack?

Likely, no. The good news for Philadelphia? If Carson Wentz plays 75 percent of snaps with the Colts, they’ll have three first-round picks for 2022. That’s at least one positive, right?
