Detroit Pistons fans were ecstatic when the team received the No.1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and the right to draft Cade Cunningham.
Represented by the legendary Ben Wallace at the 2021 NBA Draft Lottery, the Detroit Pistons =won the night’s biggest prize: the right to select first in the 2021 NBA Draft.
As one of the NBA’s three worst teams this past season, Detroit had a 14 percent chance of landing the first pick, whom many presume will be Oklahoma State Cowboys star, Cade Cunningham. Needless to say, Pistons fans finally have a reason to be excited about their team’s play this year, because it resulted in the team getting the right to draft Cunningham, who will only work out for the PIstons.

Detroit has not picked first in the NBA Draft in 51 years and now they have the opportunity to select a bonafide superstar in the making. Supporters of the #FadeForCade movement could not be happier.
We haven’t seen Pistons fans this excited since they won the NBA Finals in 2004. Even NBA legends like Jalen Rose and Kendrick Perkins were excited about the future of the franchise.
