The Los Angeles Clippers fell a little short this season, but they’ll be good again next year and these three players won’t be back.

The Los Angeles Clippers reached the conference finals for the first time in franchise history this year, but without Kawhi Leonard they could not usurp the Phoenix Suns. Still, it will go down as a successful season as they rebounded from 2-0 deficits in each of their first two playoff series.

The Clippers will be a factor next year, and until further notice, with Leonard and Paul George leading the way. Leonard can opt-out of his contract this offseason, which has fueled speculation about where he might go. But the odds he departs are remote.

Filling out the roster around Leonard and George with the right pieces will be the key to the Clippers’ offseason. There are some easy re-signings, like “Mr. June” Reggie Jackson and Serge Ibaka, but some others will be easily gone.

Here are three Clippers players who won’t be back next season.

3. Amir Coffey

In a certain light, Coffey is still an interesting young player two seasons into his career after going undrafted out of Minnesota. But he has played a total of 62 regular-season games, and he got off the bench for a total of 16 minutes in this year’s playoffs.

Coffey signed a two-year deal after going undrafted. He could be brought back as a developmental/G-League guy, but he may find a better opportunity elsewhere and the Clippers can probably put that roster spot to better use.
