Watch Chris Paul and Scott Foster confront each other during Game 6 (Video)
Ahead of Game 6, Chris Paul and referee Scott Foster shared a moment on the court.
Chris Paul has voiced criticism of veteran NBA referee Scott Foster a number of times. Heading into Tuesday’s Game 6, the Phoenix Suns point guard has lost the last dozen playoff games he’s personally played in with Foster as an official. The pair are connected via some controversial calls in the past.
In a must-win game from the Suns, it was wise of Paul to start things off in a courteous manner. Keep in mind, he has been the President of the National Basketball Player’s Association (NBPA) since 2013.
He’s got some political savvy can handle tense situations like the best of them.
We’re not sure what was said, but it appeared to be only a quick discussion.

Paul’s career playoff record with Foster officiating (2-15 ) has been a talking point this week. There are some hard feelings, to be sure, but it didn’t stop Paul and Foster from sharing a brief moment together on court ahead of tip-off.
Facing elimination from the first NBA Finals of his career, Game 6 is the biggest basketball game the “Point God” has ever played. He has nothing to gain from getting into any kind of altercation with Foster. Hopefully, with consistent and fair officiating, there will be no reason for one anyways.
