It took him until Thursday to send his first grand slam out of the ballpark. It seems like Braves fans were waiting for that moment, too, as they showered the shortstop with praise after hitting his first grand slam.

Dansby’s first grand slam gave the Brave a 4-0 lead over the Phillies, and it also quieted some haters in the process. Hopefully, this career achievement is a boost for Swanson, who has struggled out the gate since the All-Star break.
