Vikings: 3 bargain buy free agents still available for Minnesota

3. WR Golden Tate

It’s no secret that the Vikings have an electric wide receiver duo of Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. That said, it’s more of the same when it comes to Minnesota; depth is needed.

Now, they added DeDe Westbrook, which was a good signing to give the Vikings another solid target. By adding Tate, they could have four really reliable guys that could have increased roles in case of injury.

On top of that, the Vikings will happily spread that ball around. Sure Jefferson and Theilen will get the majority of targets, but sprinkling in Tate, Westbrook, Chad Bebe, and tight end Irv Smith would give them endless options in the passing game. It wouldn’t be a flashy moves, but it would be a move that would pay off.
