Javier Baez had the worst swing-and-miss you’ll ever see during Tuesday night’s game against the San Francisco Giants.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make us smile and this hugely embarrassing swing-and-miss is just that. Javier Baez was at the plate during the New York Mets vs. San Francisco Giants game on Tuesday night and he missed the pitch and it wasn’t even close.

This game was important for the Mets, as it was the first of their three-game set against the Giants. These same two teams met last week, in which the Giants took two-of-three. Furthermore, this was the first time that Baez and shortstop Francisco Lindor teamed up in the middle infield for the Mets. Lindor was activated off the injured list prior to the game after dealing with a strained right oblique.

Unfortunately for the Mets, they did not get off to the greatest of starts, including Baez’s swing-and-miss. Mets pitcher Tylor Megill surrendered six runs on four home runs in 3.2 innings. Those who took Megill deep were Mike Yastrzemski, LaMonte Wade and Brandon Belt (twice).

The Mets ended up losing 8-0 to the Giants.
