5 keys for Saints to beat the Packers this Sunday

3. Feed Alvin Kamara early and often

One of the most explosive players in the NFL is no doubt Alvin Kamara. The Saints speedster is a magician with the ball in his hands and his breakaway speed is something you don’t see every day. He’s the big star on this team.

Knowing that, Payton isn’t going to try and get cute against Green Bay. Yes, Winston is going to need to throw the ball around and make plays, but New Orleans fans can expect a heavy dose of Kamara.

The great thing about the veteran running back is that he can hurt you on the ground and in the aerial attack as well. Because of this, trying to stop him is nearly impossible. You can only hope to contain him at times.

With Michael Thomas out of action, there will be even more pressure on Kamara to step up and lead the charge offensively. Winston is fortunate to have someone of Kamara’s caliber by his side. Winston will know to get the rock to the speedster and let him impress like he always does.
