College football picks against the spread for Week 3: No. 20-16

Georgia Southern at 20 Arkansas (-23.5) – Over 52.5

Truthfully, taking Arkansas as this big of a favorite scares me, even against Georgia Southern. This team feels primed for a letdown sooner rather than later. However, Saturday’s matchup isn’t that spot as the Hogs are just physically superior at every level and should be able to run up the score pretty easily for a big win.

Tulane at 17 Ole Miss (-14.0) – Over 76.0

Let’s get crazy with this one. Ole Miss’ offense legitimately looks like one of the most potent in the country right now but Tulane is no slouch in their own right as the Green Wave put up 35 points against Oklahoma. I expect a similar performance from them in this game but the Rebels will be more consistent when they have the ball to secure the cover and hit the over.

16 Coastal Carolina (-14.0) at Buffalo – Under 57.5

You could make the argument that this is the best defense Coastal Carolina will have faced to this point but I also have little faith in the Bulls offense to score consistently. For that reason, my lean is to the under but the Chanticleers should be able to run away with a comfortable victory by more than two touchdowns.
