3. Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders

Josh Jacobs is still not getting any love this week. Maybe that’s because he missed Wednesday’s practice with a toe injury, but he’s expected to get multiple rest days across the season to keep him healthy. He only had 34 rushing yards against the Ravens, but he had two touchdowns making him one of the top running back options in Week 1. It was a great week for the former first-round pick.

Jacobs is the scorer in this Raiders offense. Derek Carr and Darren Waller will get the Raiders down in the red zone, and that’s where Jacobs will make the other team pay.

2. Devin Singletary, Buffalo Bills

The Bills offense had a bad time on Sunday. The Steelers brought them down to Earth, and they spent this whole week humbled. That will provide a motivating factor as the Bills head into this week’s matchup with the Dolphins.

Against the Patriots, Harris got more than 100 yards before fumbling. Singletary could have a similar type of game now that it appears he’s once again the top option in Buffalo. Zack Moss didn’t even dress on Sunday. Singletary averaged more than six yards per carry against Pittsburgh. He can hurt the Dolphins even more.

1. Myles Gaskin, Miami Dolphins

On the other side of the field, Myles Gaskin could have a big week for the Miami Dolphins. The offense isn’t ready to completely run through Tua Tagovailoa, so this gives the Dolphins a chance to hand the ball to Gaskin early and often. Last week against the Patriots, some thought Malcolm Brown would take over the starting role, but it is clear who is the bell cow here.

Gasking had an 18.5% target share last week. With a tough Bills matchup in front of them, the Dolphins want someone who will be a little more elusive. The Dolphins smell blood in the water, and they can really put the Bills in a hole. They need a creative game plan heading in, and that has Gaskin written all over it.
