3. George Kittle will torch the Packers’ secondary

The bold prediction that Savage will get one pick against Kittle doesn’t change the reality that Green Bay can’t handle the exceptional tight end. Kittle is in line for a banner day against the Packers’ overmatched secondary.

Garoppolo isn’t a perfect quarterback but he won’t need to approach perfection to leverage Kittle on Sunday night. He could rack up 10+ catches while comfortably going over the 100-yard receiving mark. Throw in at least one touchdown and it’s easy to understand just how impactful Kittle can be in this game.

Of course, the Packers will do everything in their power to slow Kittle down. They just don’t have the horses to do that with any effectiveness. In particular, Green Bay lacks the versatility at linebacker to really hinder Kittle on short throws that can turn into big gains after the catch.

Adrian Amos’ limited ability to cover ground at free safety also will contribute to his team’s inability to stop Kittle. He’s a legitimate star for San Francisco’s offense and he’s going to shine brightly on the big stage of Sunday Night Football.
