2. NFL teams that should be on upset alert in Week 4 – Los Angeles Rams

We’ll stay in the city of angels and take a look at the Rams, who made a statement of their own at SoFi Stadium on Sunday. Los Angeles welcomed Tom Brady to town for the first time in his lengthy NFL career and sent him home with a 34-24 loss in a game that wasn’t particularly close.

The Rams dominated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the jump, riding an excellent performance from Matthew Stafford to shred a suspect Buccaneers’ secondary. The defense also did a tremendous job harassing Brady, sacking him three times and forcing enough pressure to get the Tampa Bay offense out of sync.

This kind of performance drew some national headlines that declared the Rams as the team to beat in the NFC. While the Rams have certainly earned those accolades at this point, they still have yet to play a divisional game in what may be the most stacked division in the NFL from top-to-bottom, the NFC West.

Los Angeles is favored by five points at home this week against the Arizona Cardinals, who are also 3-0 after topping the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-19 in Week 3. Arizona has the firepower to give the Rams a big fight and they will need to maintain their focus in this battle for first place in order to avoid the upset.
