1. NFL teams that should be on upset alert in Week 4 – Chicago Bears

There were a few ugly performances from rookie quarterbacks in Week 4 but Justin Fields might have had the worst day of them all. Fields made his first start for the Chicago Bears and was awful against the Cleveland Browns, completing just 6-of-20 passes for 68 yards in a 26-6 debacle that saw the Bears gain just 47 yards of offense on 42 plays.

The offensive did Fields no favors, allowing nine sacks and countless pressures, while a conservative game plan from head coach Matt Nagy did little to harness Fields’ strengths. The effort was so putrid that the Bears have made it known that all three quarterbacks on their roster are options to start, including Andy Dalton (if he can recover from a knee injury) and third-stringer Nick Foles.

Despite all of the uncertainty at quarterback and the messy play that has plagued Chicago for the better part of this season, oddsmakers have established the Bears as three-point favorites at home against the Detroit Lions. To be fair to the books, Detroit is a dreadful team that has earned its 0-3 record, but the Lions have competed hard in every game and nearly pulled an upset against the Baltimore Ravens last week if not for the heroics of Justin Tucker’s NFL-record 66-yard field goal as time expired.

This is a divisional game and Detroit will sense blood in the water as well as an opportunity to help new head coach Dan Campbell earn his first win. This game could get very ugly for the Bears, who are clearly the team in the most jeopardy of getting upset in Week 4.
