Here are three of the best highlights from the trilogy bout between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.

The trilogy between heavyweight boxing legends Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury had been anticipated for months, and it certainly didn’t disappoint for as long as it lasted.

It was a back-and-forth affair between Wilder and Fury from the opening seconds onward, as the two had their moments and had each other in deep waters throughout the fight. After surviving a pair of early knockdowns, Fury put on a technical performance in the later rounds to earn an 11th round knockout over Wilder.

Wilder vs. Fury 3 will go down as easily one of the most exciting heavyweight battles in boxing history. Their rivalry will be talked about by fight fans for years to come.

Tyson Fury sends Deontay Wilder collapsing to the canvas in Round 3

Fury got the better of the early exchanges against Wilder, using his jab to dictate the range and using his defensive style to avoid Wilder’s ferocious hooks.

After forcing Wilder to the ropes, Fury landed a big right hand to the side of Wilder’s head that earned the knockdown.

Deontay Wilder knocks Tyson Fury down twice in Round 4

Wilder came back emphatically in Round 4, using effective body jabs to give Fury some trouble. Fury started to get a bit reckless and attempted to clinch, but Wilder caught him with his signature right hand not once, but twice in the round.

It appeared that Wilder had turned the tide after some early struggles, but Fury would get back on track and control the pace of the fight.

Tyson Fury deals the knockout blow to Deontay Wilder in Round 11

Wilder somehow survived a barrage of combinations from Fury in Rounds 8, 9, and 10. His heart was unquestionable, but he appeared exhausted as the fight went on.

Fury would go on to wobble Wilder on the ropes, before landing a massive right hand that ended the fight in Round 11. Fury’s knockout caps off one of the greatest trilogies in boxing history.
