The Giants were coming off a surprising overtime victory at New Orleans and now try to cool off the rejuvenated Cowboys in Arlington. It was a painful afternoon for Joe Judge’s club as both Saquon Barkley (ankle) and Daniel Jones (concussion) were knocked out of action.

Mike Glennon took over for the latter and threw for 196 yards and one TD but was intercepted twice. But New York’s disappointing defense gave up a whopping 515 total yards.

Off their first victory of the season, the Jets headed to London, England, for an interconference clash with the Falcons. While the final score showed a competitive game, Robert Saleh’s team was down, 20-3, at halftime and had been outgained 251-80 in total yards.

New York ran for only 64 yards and quarterback Zach Wilson threw for only 192 yards and was picked off once. And the Jets allowed a disappointing 450 total yards by game’s end.

Arthur Smith’s team allowed an NFL-high 128 points entering Sunday’s clash with the Jets across the pond. But this day would eventually belong to quarterback Matt Ryan, who would throw for 342 yards and a pair of scores as the Atlanta offense rolled up 450 total yards.

This despite the fact that the Falcons committed a pair of turnovers. A 17-point lead at halftime turned into a 20-17 advantage early in the fourth quarter but Smith’s team held on.

Previous: . Philadelphia Eagles. 25. team. 54. . 2-3

The Birds were hoping to put an end to a three-game losing streak when they traveled to Charlotte to take on the improved Panthers. Nick Sirianni’s squad was down 15-3 at intermission and the Philadelphia offense had gained a mere 88 yards of total offense.

But the Eagles picked off Carolina quarterback Sam Darnold three times – twice by Darius Slay – and also recorded three sacks. Quarterback Jalen Hurts ran for both of his team’s touchdowns.
