A talented Washington defense continued to disappoint despite the fact that Jack Del Rio’s team managed to sack Saints’ quarterback Jameis Winston twice and force him into a pair of turnovers. This unit also gave up 279 yards and four aerial scores on the afternoon.

Washington’s Antonio Gibson ran for 60 yards and two scores. Taylor Heinicke threw for 248 yards and zero touchdowns but served up a pair of interceptions in this latest setback.

Yes, it still sounds funny to say Colts visit Baltimore. But Frank Reich’s team was hoping to build on last week’s 27-17 win at Miami – the team’s first victory of 2021. The good news is that quarterback Carson Wentz has done a better job of taking care of the football.

He fumbled once in Week 1 and turned over the ball. But he has not put the ball on the ground since. There was a Week 2 interception vs. the Rams but two total turnovers in four games.

The Niners had dropped two straight games after a 2-0 start and visited the lone undefeated team in the league in the rival Cardinals. Rookie quarterback Trey Lance made his first NFL start (see ESPN’s Nick Wagoner) and he led everyone in the game with 89 yards rushing.

But he barely completed half of his passes (15-of-29), threw for only 192 yards and one interception. Kyle Shanahan’s team has dropped three straight games following a 2-0 start.
