1. Top fantasy football pickups for Week 6 – New Orleans Saints WR Marquez Callaway

Trying to make sense out of the New Orleans Saints this season has been very difficult. The retirement of Drew Brees has turned the Saints into a Jekyll and Hyde team offensively depending on which version of Jameis Winston surfaces in a given week.

Outside of Alvin Kamara’s role, few Saints have staked their claims to regular fantasy relevance, but wide receiver Marquez Callaway broke out in Week 5. Callaway was targeted eight times by Winston against the Washington Football Team and caught four of them for 85 yards, including a pair of touchdowns.

The eight targets are a season-high for Callaway, who appears to be proving himself as a go-to guy for Winston right now. There is volatility in the long term with Callaway since Michael Thomas is working his way back from offseason surgery but for now, he appears to be locked in as the WR1 in New Orleans.

There is an opportunity to pick up Callaway, who is rostered in only 30 percent of Yahoo leagues, now while people forget about the Saints during their bye week. Callaway draws a burnable Seattle secondary in Week 7 and looks poised to receive plenty of targets down the stretch, making him a good flex option for owners looking to cover byes in the coming weeks.
