Brett Anderson joined the Brewers for the 2020 truncated season, where he held a 4.21 ERA and a 4-4 record in 10 starts. This past winter, Anderson was re-signed to a one-year contract worth $2.5 million.

This season, the left-hander has dealt with a variety of injuries. Anderson dealt with a right hamstring strain, a right knee contusion and a left shoulder contusion, each earning him a trip on the injured list.

Through 24 starts with the Brewers this year, Anderson accumulated a 4.22 ERA, a 1.35 WHIP and a 4-9 record while posting 58 strikeouts and 28 walks over 96.0 innings of work. Anderson did not make Milwaukee’s NLDS roster.

With Anderson set to become a free agent, it is likely that Milwaukee allows him to walk and sign elsewhere.
