Flex: Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers at Baltimore Ravens-$8,400

After not being targeted in the passing game at all Week 1, Ekeler has nine, six, five and five targets in the last four games with at least five catches and more than 50 yards three times.. He has only topped 80 yards on the ground once so far this season, but scoring in four of five games has helped offset that.

A 76-yard catch and run off a screen by Jonathan Taylor in Week 5 skews the numbers. But the Baltimore Ravens are a bottom-10 fantasy defense against running backs, and they’ve been somewhat vulnerable to pass catchers out of the backfield. Ekeler will be a challenge to contain in Week 6.

With a significant piece of the pie in a great offense, and a high-scoring game seeming sure to come on Sunday, Ekeler is a high-end flex to fill out this FanDuel lineup for Week 6.

Team Defense: Cincinnati Bengals at Detroit Lions-$4,500

All things considered, even with missed field goals by Mason Crosby as a factor, the Bengals defense held its own against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5 (25 points allowed, two sacks, one interception). They have multiple sacks in four of five games this season, led by Trey Hendrickson with 4.5 sacks. A great matchup is coming in Week 6.

If not for a gift-wrapped opportunity deep due to a fumble deep in Vikings’ territory late in Week 5, the Detroit Lions would have likely been held to nine points in the game. As it was they scored 17 points or less for the fourth straight game. Jared Goff is dinking-and-dunking with a limited wide receiver group that’s now without Quintez Cephus, and he has taken 10 sacks over the last three games (eight in the last two).

The Lions are an easy target to play a defense against in fantasy. Cincinnati’s improved unit is next up.
