LSU football needs a new head coach after agreeing to pay Ed Orgeron’s buyout.
LSU’s football program has been stagnant since winning a national title to cap off the 2019 season. The Tigers had one of the most prolific offenses in college football history accompanied by a stout defense and led by a brilliant coaching staff. But the vast majority of the members of that team have moved on and LSU head coach Ed Orgeron has failed to sustain success.
And now, Orgeron has agreed to take his buyout and LSU will have a new coach after this year.
On top of that, LSU is under heavy scrutiny due to serious allegations, including some that surround the football program. Orgeron was previously named a defendant in a Title IX lawsuit, according to a report by Sports Illustrated.
