Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies won free tacos for America, but took runs away from the Astros.

The Braves are off to a fast start in Houston as they took a 2-0 lead in the first inning behind a lead-off home run from Jorge Soler and a 3-0 RBI from Austin Riley. Atlanta didn’t get here by taking chances, and Albies reflected that with his early stealing to help put the Braves on the board.

As Taco Bell promised, with Albies stealing a base in the World Series, tacos will be free for all of America on Nov. 4.

Albies is among the faces of the Braves lineup, and it’s not surprising he was one of the favorites to pick up the firs steal of the series.

Free tacos World Series: Ozzie Albies is America’s favorite

Just a half-inning after winning us all free tacos, Albies kept the Houston Astros scoreless with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning.

Kyle Tucker tried to find the hole in between first and second base, but Albies was having none of that. Had the ball gotten through, it’s safe to assume the Astros would’ve scored two runs on the play.

The Astros are notoriously tough with two outs, as they choke up on the bat and sacrifice power for contact. Had Morton not gotten out of that at-bat, who knows how long Houston would’ve stayed alive that inning?
