4. The Cowboys defense will give up over 30 points

Fans of offensive football should definitely tune into this game. Neither defense is properly equipped to stop the opposing offense. Dallas comes into the contest giving up 24.3 points per game. Minnesota will do marginally more damage in this contest.

Cousins may not be the most frightening quarterback in the league to face, but he’s got exceptional wide receivers working on his behalf. Dallas can’t cover Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen at the same time. Diggs can take one guy away on most downs, but the other receiver will face a very favorable matchup.

The Cowboys’ front-seven will also struggle to contain Dalvin Cook and Minnesota’s run game. He may not get a ton of carries, but he’ll be a key factor in the passing game as well. Micah Parsons has the athleticism to contend with Cook in open space but he lacks the experience to win this one-on-one battle consistently.

The end result will be Minnesota putting up at least 30 points on the mediocre Cowboys’ defense. Dallas can win this game in a shootout, but the offense will be under serious pressure to light up the scoreboard.
